In this role you advise underwriters and clients on energy transition risks, helping to implement carbon reduction strategies and support decarbonization efforts. You’ll work closely with the Global Energy Leader and risk consulting teams to shape AXA XL’s energy strategy across renewables and new technologies. You’ll translate industry trends into actionable insights, enhance risk knowledge for underwriting, and help clients and brokers manage energy-related exposures. This position blends technical risk consulting with market-facing client engagement to drive sustainable growth.

Responsabilidades

Advise underwriters on industry-specific risks and support clients in implementing carbon reduction strategies
Collaborate with AXA XL Energy Engineers and underwriters to share insights on energy transition trends
Visit client sites to assess location and industry risks and report findings to underwriting and clients
Provide risk knowledge to underwriters to select profitable clients and reduce losses
Share expertise with colleagues and support claims teams to contextualize energy losses
Ensure compliance with technical rules and guidelines and contribute to developing risk consulting standards
Support development of a scalable energy transition strategy and value proposition for clients and brokers

Requisitos principales

Engineering degree or equivalent background in energy/industrial domains
Experience in energy sector or risk consulting
Knowledge of renewable technologies (wind, solar, BESS) and, optionally, thermal power or oil&gas
Interest in energy transition and emerging technologies
Autonomous work style, curiosity, and strong teamwork
Ability to travel as required
Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages a plus
