Director of Controlling, Material Science ( EMEA)

Here at Brenntag we are looking for a Director of Controlling to join our Material Science business unit. This role can be based anywhere in Europe.
Job Description:
* Financial steering & business co-piloting to the Material Science BU incl. planning, forecasting, trending, and analysis
* Part of the development and execution of the Strategic of the Material Science business in EMEA
* Drive actions for improvement and efficiency of BSP Material Science in the region.
* Prepare and evaluate investment decisions and contract approvals when required
* Support and work alongside non-financial management
* Ensure compliance of business procedures, reporting compliance, controls, and risk assessments
* Review and analyse working capital to achieve optimization
* Support M&A in valuation, negotiations support, and alignment with stakeholders
Candidate Requirements:
* Multiple years experience in a FP&A / Controlling position
* Strong analytical skills & the ability to communicate across business functions
* Ability to prioritise and manage own workload within a busy environment
