As Database Architect, you will define and drive the database strategy to support the organization’s objectives. You will design and optimize large-scale data platforms, ensuring reliability, security, and performance. You’ll lead cross-functional initiatives and collaborate with stakeholders to translate data needs into robust solutions. This role offers a chance to shape the data architecture and governance framework at scale, within a hybrid, technology-driven environment.

Responsabilidades
- Develop long-term database strategy aligned with business objectives and technology roadmap
- Evaluate and recommend database technologies, platforms, and architectures
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate data requirements into effective solutions
- Design and implement complex database architectures, includingOLTP systems
- Develop data models, schemas, and normalization rules for data integrity
- Optimize performance via indexing, query tuning, and monitoring
- Design automation routines for Database Engineers
- Establish and enforce data governance policies and standards
- Develop data classification and retention strategies for compliance
- Implement data security measures to protect sensitive information
- Lead and manage database-related projects with cross-functional teams
Requisitos principales
- 8+ years of experience in DBA work, database architecture and design
- Proven track record of leading complex database projects and initiatives
- Deep understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, including data modeling and performance optimization
- Experience with cloud-based database platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Experience with data platforms for Microsoft SQL Server and Open Source technologies (Postgres and MySQL)
