Role involves working closely with regional actuaries, MI and IT teams as well as a number of segment leaders and line managers across Europe. Data Expert will be responsible for maintaining data integrity, providing reporting and analysis on the portfolio.

Responsibilities:
1.    Support on the definition, coding and testing of the rules on our Rules Engine for automated processes.
2.    Support and control the triage of migration for online platforms and different underwriting teams (creation of workitems, monitoring of failures, dashboard).
3.    To work with BI team to enhance data available to manage underwriting effort and portfolio (capacity management).
4.    To support enhancements and development of other data focused underwriting processes (IIR commission review, Peer Review, etc).
5.    Support the training for different stakeholders (UWs, sales, etc) around renewals triage, portfolio data and new reporting solutions.
6.    Build and report (as required) timely, precise, accurate and comprehensive MI in relation to Commercial Lines performance (migration, production, data accuracy, etc.).
7.    Continually look for opportunities to improve the databases and MI solutions we use and make proposals as to how those improvements may be realised.
8.    To work within the framework of Chubb ethical and general guidelines.
9.    Assist where required with ongoing Projects that are identified throughout the year for improvement to the Underwriting efficiency.
10.    Maintaining continuous education opportunities to improve own technical skills and maintain professional credentials.

Qualifications

Desired Skills and Experience:
•    Insurance or Actuary University Degree or equivalent
•    Master usage of excel macros, Python, R, Qliksense, Qlikview, SQL for data management.
•    Professional language skills in English.
•    Additional European languages would be taking into consideration.  
•    Strong customer service skills and customer centric attitude.
•    Strong attention to detail and the desire to deliver and improve quality.
•    Problem resolution and decision-making skills.
•    Ability to work in a team environment as well as on own initiative.
