As Data and AI Architect for Sustainability, you will shape the data/AI strategy and scalable architectures to support sustainability accounting, reporting, and risk management. You will design end-to-end data lakehouse solutions prioritizing ESG data and governance, collaborating with stakeholders to turn sustainability goals into actionable digital roadmaps. You will lead innovative approaches and establish best practices for masterdata management across the enterprise. This role blends technical leadership with a strong sustainability domain focus.

Responsabilidades

Translate sustainability strategies into digital roadmaps and actionable architecture plans
Design scalable end-to-end data/AI architectures focusing on emissions, resource use, and supply chain metrics (Green Ledger)
Architect and maintain data lakehouse platforms (Databricks) for structured and unstructured sustainability data
Establish and enforce masterdata management principles for data consistency and governance
Ensure data ingestion, transformation, storage patterns support analytics, AI/ML, and reporting with governance
Deliver high-quality sustainability masterdata products enabling self-service analytics (Power BI)
Engage with business stakeholders, data scientists, and engineers to align needs and compliance
Lead disruptive thinking and promote enterprise-wide data & sustainability governance standards
Define and drive the overall data and AI architecture across data capabilities, processes, and tech
Continuously assess and modernize the data architecture and technology landscape
Collaborate with senior stakeholders and domain architects to secure alignment and long-term roadmaps
Mentor and promote best practices for data and sustainability architecture across the enterprise

Requisitos principales

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, AI, or related field
10+ years in data architecture, data governance, and process optimization
3–4 years building sustainability-focused digital solutions for risk management, accounting or reporting (CSRD, CBAM, GHG Protocol, etc.)
Proven ability to design end-to-end data/AI architectures, including data modeling, integration, cloud platforms, and analytics
Experience with Databricks or similar lakehouse environments; Microsoft Cloud for Sustainability or SAP Sustainability deployment is a plus
MDM and data governance expertise (MDM platforms like Informatica MDM, SAP MDG)
Strong SQL and data modeling skills (relational, dimensional, data vault)
Experience with data integration tools and APIs (REST, SOAP, ETL)
Proficiency with Azure and AWS cloud platforms; knowledge of security, compliance, and risk management in data environments
Excellent communication in English and ability to convey complex concepts to non-technical stakeholders
Proven track record delivering data and AI solutions; certifications in data architecture/AI are a plus
Willingness to think disruptively and drive innovation in sustainability data
