The role of Client Solutions Security Lead is a cross-functional profile, with a vision and understanding of the different components and their relationship from a business impact perspective.
Role Purpose
Avanade is seeking to hire a Client Solutions Lead for Security to lead the pre-sales and go-to-market strategy for our Security practice within the Microsoft ecosystem. The mission is to accelerate the adoption of M365 Security/Defender, strengthen identity with Entra ID, secure workloads in Azure, and scale SOC services based on Microsoft Sentinel. This role acts as a trusted advisor to clients and partners, aligning our proposals with real business and cybersecurity challenges.
? Key Responsibilities
Strategy and Go-to-Market
* Define and execute the commercial strategy for Microsoft Security (M365 Defender, Entra ID, Azure Security, and Microsoft Sentinel) in coordination with regional leadership and Microsoft.
* Design value propositions and repeatable offerings (assessments, blueprints, accelerators, estimators) that demonstrate ROI and time-to-value.
* Launch joint campaigns with Microsoft and other strategic partners, ensuring alignment with Security priorities (Zero Trust, XDR, SIEM/SOAR, identity).
Client and Partner Relations
* Engage with executives such as CISO, CIO, CTO, and Risk/Compliance leaders, identifying pain points and orchestrating Avanade's response.
* Lead executive and technical workshops (Zero Trust, Threat Protection, Identity, SecOps) and co-innovation sessions.
* Represent Avanade at industry events, forums, and security communities as a market reference.
Commercial Support and Pre-Sales
* Collaborate closely with sales and project teams to build high-impact proposals, optimizing client investment.
* Participate in the creation of commercial proposals, including effort estimation and team definition, ensuring solutions fit client needs and maximize investment value.
* Proactively support pre-sales processes, demonstrations, and client workshops.
* Drive the adoption of Microsoft security solutions among new and existing clients, advising on configuration, deployment, and operation, and demonstrating hands-on expertise with these technologies.
Leadership and Culture
* Work with highly qualified teams, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous learning.
* Promote the development of technical and commercial capabilities within the team.

As a Client Solutions Security area Lead, you will support client relationships and work with account leads and key region stakeholders to translate client industry business goals to technology outcomes, through the Microsoft platform.
You will drive technical-thought leadership with a long-term view for how clients can successfully manage, operate & secure their technology platform. You will keep up to date on emerging technology and how to apply it to clients.
Your goal will be to ensure your clients most pressing and long-term business challenges are met with Avanade's most relevant industry-led solutions.
? Requirements
Experience and Skills
* Proven experience in pre-sales, consulting, or commercial leadership roles in infrastructure solutions, with deep knowledge of Azure.
* Experience creating tailored commercial proposals, including estimations and team definitions.
* Hands-on experience in the Microsoft environment, including troubleshooting, configuring, and optimizing security components in production environments.
* Demonstrated active and practical involvement with Microsoft technologies, not limited to theoretical knowledge or high-level supervision.
* Excellent communication, influence, and presentation skills for technical and executive audiences.
* Ability to define and lead commercial strategies.
* Strong client orientation, with sensitivity to understand challenges and propose suitable solutions.
* Experience working with M365 Defender and deep knowledge of the Microsoft ecosystem.
* Languages: Fluent Spanish and English.
Education
* University degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Telecommunications, or related fields.
* Certifications in M365 Defender, Identity and Enterprise Security, or commercial leadership are valued.
