In this role you work within McKinsey’s Private Capital practice to support investor clients and their portfolio companies across the deal lifecycle. You will conduct market assessments, perform targeted financial analysis, and synthesize findings into clear recommendations. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, build trust-based client relationships, and help portfolio companies pursue value-creation initiatives. The role offers structured learning, mentoring, and exposure to a global, diverse network, with a focus on developing leadership capabilities.

Responsabilidades
- Support private investor clients and portfolio companies through the deal lifecycle (diligence, value creation, exit support).
- Assess market attractiveness and conduct targeted financial analysis for potential acquisitions.
- Collaborate with portfolio companies on value creation topics and serve as a subject matter expert on investor services.
- Synthesize complex information into clear takeaways using qualitative and quantitative methods; communicate findings effectively to diverse audiences including senior leaders.
- Build trust-based client relationships and contribute to the firm's ethics and integrity standards.
- Work in teams of 3–5 consultants, gaining broad exposure across industries and capabilities.
- Engage in ongoing learning and development through structured apprenticeship and mentorship.
- Intersect with firm capabilities (digital, implementation, tech, analytics) and collaborate with cross-functional experts.
Requisitos principales
- Undergraduate degree or master’s degree
- 3+ years of post-degree work experience
- Experience in investment banking, private equity, or venture capital environment (exposure to transactions a plus)
- Investor mindset and interest in private equity, real estate, or venture capital
- Ability to work collaboratively and drive independent workstreams within a team
- Comfort with ambiguity and complex problem solving
- Quantitative thinking and analysis skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication in Spanish and English
- Based in Madrid or Barcelona, willing to work with a global client base
