In this role you will own the end-to-end IT infrastructure design for customer systems within Vanderlande’s IT Delivery team. You’ll balance IT and OT considerations to deliver integrated solutions for automated material handling, collaborating across global stakeholders from pre-sales to service takeover. You’ll work on high-availability, secure architectures using modern virtualization and containerization, contributing to continuous improvement of products and customer outcomes. This is a hands-on, project-driven position in 24/7 industrial environments with a clear impact on delivery quality and customer satisfaction.

Responsabilidades

End-to-end architecture ownership
Pre-sales and technical guidance/support
Effort estimation and cost advisory
Design of Networking, HA, Systems, Virtualization, and Security
Integrated IT + OT design (PLC, SCADA, Fieldbus)
Supervision of implementation with hands-on approach
Validator and QA of the as-build system solution
Alignment with stakeholders (internal and external)
Participation in optimizations and continuous improvement circles of products

Requisitos principales

Bachelor or master in a relevant field
Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure systems (servers, operating systems, high availability, performance, redundancy, disaster recovery)
6+ years in multi-disciplinary industrial IT infrastructure implementations
Experience in industrial real-time systems
Experience in designing complex server/client structures on Windows/Linux with virtualization and/or containerization
Knowledge of cloud technologies (Azure) and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm) is advantageous
Fluent in English and Spanish
Optional: experience with security standards (NIS2, NIST, IEC62443, Cyber Resilience Act)
Optional: hardware knowledge of HPE, Fortinet, Cisco
Optional: knowledge of TCP/IP interfaces
Willingness to travel worldwide (5–10%)
Optional: driving license
Optional: knowledge of big data/BI and logistics/production sector experience
