The Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager will be responsible for all the product lines manufactured in Zamudio, reporting to the Plant Manager. He/she will demonstrate leadership and communication skills, being responsible for the Production team compliance with Business goals, programs and processes. Experience in Lean philosophy is required, as well as expertise in problem resolution, and development and execution of goals and objectives for self and others Essential Responsibilities The Manufacturing Shop Operations Manager 5 will: Develop process/product improvement plans providing methodology excellence throughout the organization; Lead the production team to achieve their goals regarding safety, quality, and cost compliance; Ensure compliance with all applicable GE, governmental, or customer policies, procedures, rules and regulations; Improve service and productivity levels for customer request met business metrics; Ensure timely communication of key business/customer information to employees; Communicate with other internal/external organizations as required to ensure customer requirements are met on time; Organize production team structure to accomplish Business goals.
