Role Summary/Purpose GE is an equal opportunity employer, offering a great work environment, challenging career opportunities, professional training and competitive compensation.Reporting directly to the Iberia CEO, and functionally to the EMRG CRO, the CRO role has overall responsibility for all aspects of GE Capital EMRG Iberia Risk Management function. The primary focus will be supporting the effective run-off of the portfolio by executing Collection and Mortgage Asset Management strategies as well as overseeing the performance of GE’s participation in two Joint Ventures with local Spanish Savings Banks. Essential Responsibilities - Lead the GE Capital EMRG Iberia Risk Management across 5 core sites (Madrid, Barcelona, Lisbon, Alicante, Bilbao), overseing an organization of more than 30 employees located in 5 different sites across Iberia. The product types comprise: Residential Mortgages, Auto & Consumer Loans, Credit Cards. - Implement, communicate and educate the organization, shareholders, regulators, rating agencies and investors on the Risk Management policies. - Demonstrate active responsibility to ensure strong governance processes that are fully compliant with Local, GECC & EMRG risk policies. - Guide the development and usage of sophisticated modeling tools to enab ...
